Long-term blood sugar (HbA1c)

Long-term blood sugar shows your average blood glucose level over the past 2–3 months and is used to assess the risk of prediabetes and diabetes.

The test is performed באמצעות a simple finger prick, where a small blood sample is analysed. The result is ready in approximately 6 minutes.

Why is it important?
An elevated long-term blood sugar level can be an early sign that your body is not regulating blood sugar properly – often without noticeable symptoms. Measuring your HbA1c allows you to detect potential risks early and receive guidance on how to prevent or improve your health.

Cardiorespiratory fitness (VO₂ max)

Cardiorespiratory fitness (VO₂ max) measures your body’s ability to take in and use oxygen and provides an indication of your overall fitness level.

The measurement is performed at rest using VentriJect, which uses seismocardiography to analyse heart activity. You lie relaxed during the test, which is quick and requires no physical effort. Results are available immediately.

Why is it important?
Your VO₂ max is a strong indicator of overall health and is closely linked to the risk of lifestyle-related diseases. A low fitness level may be associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease, while a higher level generally reflects better physical condition and health. The test provides a useful starting point for improving your fitness and overall wellbeing.

Lung function (spirometry)

A lung function test measures how well your lungs work, including how much air you can inhale and exhale, and how quickly you can blow air out.

The test is performed by blowing into a mouthpiece connected to a measuring device (spirometer). It is quick and simple, requiring only a few deep breaths and exhalations. Results are available immediately.

Why is it important?
Reduced lung function can be an early sign of respiratory conditions such as asthma or COPD – often before symptoms appear. Testing your lung function provides insight into your respiratory health and helps identify potential issues early, allowing you to take steps to improve or maintain healthy lung function.
